WHO WE ARE

Devon Howlers is a run by the big chief himself Peter Howse (who is also kept in check by Mandy Howse) as well as bit of help from some close dog crazy friends too.

 

With a large dog community here in the South West it was important to have a social hub for likeminded dog owners as there is little to no racing in this area. Devon Howlers has grown over the last few years from taking over a small event aimed at local people to soon becoming one of the most fun and well loved racing venues attracting competitors from around the UK who wish to compete in cani-sports - even some members of team GB!

However Devon Howlers prides itself on its relaxed friendly ethos. For many racing at Newnham Bark is about seeing friends and having fun with their dogs rather than placings (although that is always a bonus). The atmosphere is informal and for many Newnham Bark is their first ever race as a beginner for this reason.
